Roasters don’t always agree on roast level — one roaster’s dark might look the same as another’s medium. We taste and assign every coffee our own roast level, so your matches stay consistent no matter who roasted them.

Envisioned as a place for local creatives to meet and collaborate, Sparrows has always put people first. Roasting came next, when in 2016 Sparrows Coffee introduced its very own specialty line to its welcoming café, which features curated work from community artists.
Fun Fact
Sparrows’ “icon” image is two pods by artist and friend Jeff Kraus, who was once a shop regular. He originally painted them in 2016 as a 30-foot mural on the side of Sparrows’ building.

    Nice product

    I've tried a lot of coffee beans over the years, and Dirty Bird has quickly become one of my favorites. The beans are fresh, aromatic, and consistently roasted, producing a smooth, full-bodied cup with very little bitterness. Whether I'm making espresso or pour-over, the flavor is rich, balanced, and easy to enjoy every morning.
