Named for its original Irving Place café, Irving Farm has grown alongside New York's specialty coffee scene since 1996. David Elwell and Steve Leven's Hudson Valley roastery has led the way with strong grower relationships and clean, fuel-efficient practices that set an industry standard.

    Amazing flavor

    I was blown away by this coffee; you would be hard pressed to find a dark roast better than this! The flavor is bold and strong, but not overpowering. It was also not too acidic or bitter, it was very balanced. The baker’s chocolate and bourbon tasting notes were most prominent to me. I love this coffee just by itself, but I imagine milk or cream would pair wonderfully with it. I highly recommend this coffee. I’m already looking forward to my next cup!

    Smooth and robust

    There is a hint of dark chocolate, we find delightful. We enjoy bitter flavors and this coffee hits a lovely note of bitterness that is much appreciated. I do not detect any tanginess which I appreciate as I don’t like the sour after taste of some blends
