Driven by a desire to create an inclusive gathering place for rural Oregonians, founders Cody and Kristina opened Cerberus café in Jacksonville, Oregon in 2019. Within the first year, the team began small-batch roasting to extend their warm community reach even further.
Fun Fact
Cerberus got its name because the shop’s 130lb lab/mastiff mix, Bear, looks like the three-headed dog from Greek mythology.

    A bit dark for my liking, but otherwise good

    Not sure I agree with medium or medium-dark as the roast here... it felt very dark and the beans were pretty shiny/oily. That being said, it tasted pretty good! I am not a huger dark-roast person but the balance of roasty notes, burnt sugar, etc. were good, it just finished a bit more bitter than I'd like. That being said, for decaf it was pretty good and when I made a cortado with it, the bitterness was nicely rounded.
