Wonderstate

Peru Sol Naciente Gesha

Subtle & Delicate

Light-Medium Single Origins

Exclusive Limited Release!

High elevation leads to complex flavor and this Gesha-variety coffee is nothing if not complex. Julio Cesar Arotaype Huayllas's farm, Sol Naciente, is located 2350-2500 meters above sea level in the Cusco region of Peru. That makes it one of the highest elevation coffees we've ever sold at Trade.

That high elevation—which leads to low night time temperatures and a slower maturation—combines with the Gesha variety and exacting washed processing to produce a truly amazing coffee. We taste notes of key lime, nectarine, fruit loops, papaya, and so much more.
