Among the first roasters to establish a Direct Trade program, PT’s sets a high standard for both itself and the industry. That’s because this Topeka, Kansas roaster began in 1993 with the simple mission to make an excellent cup of coffee. Over 25 years later Fred Polzin and Jeff Taylor’s brand is doing just that.

Amidst the 2008 economic crisis, Bean & Bean Coffee Roasters opened shop at Rector and Broadway in Manhattan’s financial epicenter. Fourteen years and four locations later, this mother-daughter team is driven by a clear commitment to gender equity — with over half the coffee they source female-powered and all of it cupped and curated by founders and Q Graders Rachel and Jiyoon Han.

While Greater Goods Coffee Co. travels the globe sourcing its unique single origins and laid-back blends, this Austin roaster’s heart is in Texas. Founded in 2015 with the determination to please every palate, Trey Cobb and Khanh Trang’s team has since been named the state’s best coffee by Food & Wine. This roaster represents with more than just great coffee by partnering with local charitable organizations to give back with every bag.

The Order Process:
When you place an order, a specialty roaster will begin to prepare your coffee. Once roasted, your coffee is shipped within 48 hours via USPS Ground Advantage. We'll send an email with a tracking link so you can follow along every step of the way.

The Coffees: 
For each delivery, your Trade coffee subscription will prepare a different
coffee based on your preferences.  If you’d like to swap to a specific coffee, or if you’d like to repeat a previous delivery, you can do so using your subscription dashboard.

Frequency:
To begin, each Trade subscription is designed to deliver the perfect amount of coffee for one month of brewing. If you’d like to adjust your delivery schedule, you can do so using your subscription dashboard.

Trade offers two types of subscriptions, Themed Subscriptions and Custom Subscriptions. Our Themed Subscriptions are curated around specific coffee styles, like “Single Origin Subscription” or “Cold Coffee Subscription.” Simply select your desired style and we’ll work with specialty roasters across the USA to deliver a rotating selection of fresh coffee. Custom Subscriptions offer a more personalized experience. Take a short quiz to let us know what types of coffees you’re interested in, and we’ll tailor your deliveries to your exact preferences. 

Of course. There’s no commitment with a Trade coffee subscription. You can easily pause your subscription or adjust your next order date from your subscription dashboard.

Our priority is delivering coffee that you’ll love on your terms. If you’d prefer a different delivery schedule, quantity or coffee style after your first delivery, you can adjust your preferences using your subscription dashboard. If you’d like a little extra guidance while doing so, our customer service team can help Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm EST by phone at 1 (888) 252-8691, via chat on our homepage, or email at support@drinktrade.com.

This almost never happens, but our First-Bag Guarantee has you covered just in case. If you’re not completely satisfied with your first
delivery for any reason, we’ll send a new bag right away. Just contact our Customer Experience team within one week of receiving your first order so we can make it right.
