Philadelphia's ReAnimator has been exploring coffee's complexity since 2011. Owned by Mark Capriotti and Mark Corpus, this roaster embraces seasonality like few others—single-origin offerings cycle through frequently, staying on the menu for only weeks before making way for something new.
Fun Fact
ReAnimator began in a row house basement in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood with a small two kilogram roaster.

    Superb

    I just love my espresso with this coffee. I usually avoid review but this one was worth the exception. The aroma from the coffee seeds and grinding is just pleasant and very appetizing. The body is great; creamy, and there is no bad aftertaste as the bitterness is balanced.

    Really great! (Just not my thing)

    Honestly, this espresso was really delicious. It came quick, it was extremely fresh, and it tasted great. However, the profile just wasn’t exactly what I was looking for - not because Trade sent me something that didn’t match my profile, but because I didn’t realize I didn’t want something as light as these beans. I updated my profile now, but it was a tad too light for my taste. If that’s what you’re looking for, something light but still with a chocolatey flavor, this is the bean for you!
