A coffee’s flavor notes and roast level are typically provided by the roaster, and are subjective evaluations.
To create a reliable standard across all of Trade’s coffees, our Director of Coffee personally cups every bag we offer.
This means our flavor and roast notes won’t always match the roaster’s—but we’re still confident you’ll love it.

ABOUT THE ROASTER
Sightglass
San Francisco, CA
Partnered with Trade since 2018
Sightglass Coffee launched in 2009 with a simple belief: coffee can be both art and connection. Named for the small window on a roasting machine, Sightglass works with like-minded growers and roasts in small batches—so every cup reflects care, precision, and genuine craft at its best.
Fun Fact
You can still see Sightglass' vintage PROBAT roaster in action at their SF flagship in the SOMA district where they roast to order 5 days a week.
