Atlanta’s finest—Portrait Coffee and Outkast—collaborate again to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Outkast’s classic second album: ATLiens. To honor one of the all-time best records to come out of the Peach State, our friends at Portrait have partnered with Colombian coffee heroes Unblended Coffee to source something really special: a coffee co-fermented with dried peaches! Fermentation master Sebastian Ramirez takes his caturra coffee, runs it through an anaerobic fermentation, then pulps it and ferments it again with wine yeast and dried fruit. Portrait then take that coffee and blend it with Sebastian’s washed coffee to make a cup that pops with peach flavor while being brought back down to earth with flavors of brown sugar and sweet tea. It’s a coffee for me and you, your momma, and your cousin, too.

Understanding roast levels

Roast level affects both flavor and body. Here's what to expect from each.

Light

Best for: those that prize delicate flavors and a tea-like feel above intensity.

Light-Medium

Best for: those that enjoy juicy acidity and gently caramelized sugars.

Medium

Best for: those that enjoy balance and classic flavors like cocoa and nuts.

Medium-Dark

Best for: those looking for classic coffee flavors with a kiss of roast.

Dark

Best for: those that love intense, smoky flavor and a full body above all else.

Trade Tip

Roasters don’t always agree on roast level — one roaster’s dark might look the same as another’s medium. We taste and assign every coffee our own roast level, so your matches stay consistent no matter who roasted them.

    Probably my Favorite Trade Coffee

This was one of, if not the best, coffee I've ordered from Trade. Its classified as a medium to light roast, but it was so flavorful (as a Black coffee) I truly enjoyed it, even though I typically prefer dark roast.

    Juicy AF

I don't know how they did it ( I do, bc the description is on the bag). This one is greater than the sum of its parts, strong peach tea flavor but unmistakably coffee. Amazing as a pour over. I'm gonna miss this one when it's done

    Excellent peach essence coffee

I was worried about the thing about fermenting with peaches, because I generally don't like "flavored" coffees, but this is delightful, with just an "essence" of peach that's well-balanced with an otherwise wonderfully coffee that tastes like coffee, if you take my meaning.

    Spottieottiedopaliscious Delicious

This drip was roasted with peaches, it’s spottieottiedopaliscious delicious. I tried it cooler than a polar bears toe nails and piping hot, it’s on point either way. Make more of this.
