Today is Small Business Saturday, one specific day during every busy holiday shopping season we take to recognize, celebrate, and support all the wonderful local businesses that make our communities more vibrant places.
For us, however, it's a reminder of how fortunate we are to partner with and showcase over 55+ small businesses every single day in the form of our roasters and their amazing coffee.
With Trade, you don't just give back once. Every gift, subscription, or bag of coffee purchased ensures our roasters can keep doing what they do best—make coffee magic.
Right now, we're offering our biggest coffee deals of the year with up to 30% off subscriptions and gifts. Not only is it a great time to save on better coffee for everyone (yourself included!), it's the perfect time to shop local and give back.
Please enjoy this special shoutout from two of our roasters and thank you for supporting small businesses today, and every day, with us.
Though Alma Coffee was founded in Georgia in 2018, its story began long ago and far away. Fourth and fifth generation coffee farmers in Honduras, Al Lopez and daughter Leticia Hutchins extended their family legacy to bring you the freshest coffee straight from their farms to your cup. Along with Leticia’s husband, Harry, this Veteran-owned family roaster was built on the pillars of improving lives, sustainable practices, and putting its heart and soul, or Alma in Spanish, into extraordinary coffee.

Amidst the 2008 economic crisis, Bean & Bean Coffee Roasters opened shop at Rector and Broadway in Manhattan’s financial epicenter. Fifteen years and four locations later, this mother-daughter team is driven by a clear commitment to gender equity. Over half the coffee they source is female-powered and all of it cupped and curated by founders and Q Graders Rachel and Jiyoon Han.
