Aristedes Guarnizo planted this Pink Bourbon variety on his family’s farm in Tarqui, a somewhat remote village in the Huila region of Colombia. The farm sits high up at between 1900 and 2000 meters above sea level.
He takes this excellent variety, high-grown coffee and takes it through an extended set of fermentations: first in cherry and then depulped. The result is incredibly flavorful. We taste intense pink lemonade, sweet cotton candy, and Honeycrisp apple with big floral aroma to boot.
